I'm pretty sure I don't need any more equipment. For awhile.
Where do I start? On hand at Foundry 85 Classic Recording Studio is the culmination of 40 years of A.G.A.S. (Acute Gear Acquisition Syndrome). We have many rooms full of old and semi-old recording gear and instruments which may never again see the light of day. Here's an incomplete list of the main stuff.
Consoles
- Mitsubishi Westar 36 input: tracking/monitoring/analog mixing & summing
- Midas PR04 16 input: tracking/analog summing
- Tascam M3500 32 input 8 bus: studio B tracking/monitoring/analog mixing & summing
- SoundTracs Solo 16 input: remote tracking
Additional Mic Preamps
Between the Westar and the Midas console we have 52 excellent mic preamps, comparable in my view to some of the most desireable outboard pres available. We also have a few channels of outboard mic pres. If that's not enough, we're also happy to bring in additional ouboard preamps at the client's request and expense.
